Danbury, New Hampshire, October 30, 2010 – Our official application to become certified EB-5 regional center has been received by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), a bureau of the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
The application identified the expansion of Ragged Mountain Resort as the Regional Center’s sponsored project. USCIS’s approval process for a Regional Center takes between 3 to 4 months. “Once our application is approved, we can start the process of accepting capital from qualified immigrant visa investors,” said David Strong, New Hampshire EB-5 Regional Center’s Chief Operating Officer. “Our goal is to break ground in the 4th quarter of 2011 on this comprehensive expansion of one of the area’s great destination resorts.”
The New Hampshire EB-5 Regional Center application was a 550+ page business plan which included detailed marketing, investor, compliance, financial and operational information. Approval of the application is based on the plan’s compliance with the necessary rules, policies, procedures and regulations.
